Bulgaria entered a visa-free regime for holders of Schengen visas

Holders of Schengen visas can visit and stay in Bulgaria without Bulgarian visas Today the Government on the proposal of the Prime Minister decides that until the date of full integration of Bulgaria into the Schengen area, Bulgaria will apply to holders of valid Schengen visas. With this decision Bulgaria will apply the Schengen acquis. Under the decision of the owners listed visas and residence permits are entitled to enter and reside in the Republic of Bulgaria for a period of not more than three months in any six-month period from the date of first entry, without owning a Bulgarian visa for short stay.
