Foreigners return to Bulgaria

The total number of foreign visits, which includes transits, "other purposes", business trips and visits, growing 6.2 per cent for the month compared to most 2009 and reached 593 000.
Besides visits and holiday excursion, the transit operations had increased too. They rose by 6.6 per cent. The visits in the box "other" purposes - had increased with 5.4 per cent.
At the opposite pole, however, are the visits for work purposes, which decreased by 18.2 per cent. Visitors to our country for vacation or trip purposes constitute 42.9 percent of all foreigners come to Bulgaria in May. Share of 28.4 per cent are in transit, while visiting for work purposes were 16.9 per cent of all visits.
