Emona is a village in Southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in the western part of Cape Emine (the easternmost point of the Balkan Mountains), about 1 km from the steep sea coast. The region of the village is inhabited since ancient times, direct evidence of which are the remains of Thracian, ancient and medieval the Emona fortress, which rose in the "Old Fortress" area of ​​Cape Emine.
